Work With Us

How The Nourished Path began

Bonnie here! If you’ve read this far, I’m guessing you’re curious about how this journey began. In 2012, I hired a nutrition coach, and the accountability and support were life-changing. After graduate school, I started working in the hospital as a Registered Dietitian. I would often talk to patients after they had surgery, telling them how to change their eating so they didn’t have another heart attack.

But I didn’t feel like I was actually helping them. What if, instead of talking to them after their heart attack at 65, I could have helped them prevent that heart attack altogether?

Small nutrition changes at 45 make huge differences in your overall health at 65!

Sometimes life takes us on an interesting path. I was at a conference in Kansas City when I first talked to Mike, who hired me at 1am over drinks to be a nutrition coach at Stronger U Nutrition where I got my start.

After three years and helping nearly 1,000 clients at Stronger U, ventured on my own and launched The Nourished Path in February 2020. Perfect timing, right? But in a time when people needed support more than ever, I was able to help them prioritize their health. Starting my own business let me offer deeper, more personal coaching to create lasting change.

Evidently that more personal and expert guidance was in demand, because after a year I needed to bring on a coach to help me. I thought of Kendal, who had lost over 60 pounds with my help. She’s now been an invaluable part of the team for over five years!

I met Coach Trisha while working in a hospital in Seattle - she was actually my mentor when I was a new dietitian! I’ve always admired her knowledge and knew she’d make an incredible nutrition coach.

Our collective mission: To cultivate lifelong wellness habits

We empower our clients to take control of their lives using nutrition through education, accountability, understanding and support. The result is clients who graduate from our coaching and impact the lives of people around them.

Our mission statement drives us. Lifelong wellness means that the results we help our clients achieve last beyond their time with us. That’s why we go beyond weight loss to metabolic restoration and maintenance, because those steps are vital to that long term vision

“My nutrition coach was always approachable & non-judgmental. Whenever I have a question, she always provides great feedback & recommendations & I never feel it is done in a condescending way.

She has given me the tools to lead a healthy life on my own. Her response time is great & she's so sweet - I feel like we are friends even though we've never met in person! I have recommended Bonnie to many friends who now share the same thoughts/success as I do!”

Our Core Values Define How We Help You Reach Your Goals

Transparency

There is no trust without transparency. How can we expect you to trust us with your nutrition and health if we aren’t honest?

What does that look like?

  • To start, services and pricing are laid of here on our website.

  • We will always admit when we do not know something or when we made a mistake.

  • I will tell you if we are not the right fit to help you reach your goals.

Connect with Kindness

Nutrition is deeply personal. It’s important that you have a coach and team who knows and cares about you.

What does that look like?

  • A conversation with you before any money changes hands so you are excited for what’s to come.

  • Little touches like a birthday card, or remembering that you hate pickles.

  • Never making you feel guilty or judged - we all have our own struggles!

Sustainable Growth

You’re here because you need to make changes and grow, but you need to do that in a way that’s realistic and sustainable.

What does that look like?

  • A coach that pushes you with consistent, small goals.

  • Never expecting perfection, but instead for you to try your best and learn from miss-steps.

  • Guidance and strategies to navigate upcoming challenges.

As Seen and Heard On

“As a Registered Dietitian myself - I knew what to do. But when I noticed weight starting to creep up, especially on my waist, my usual strategies weren’t working. My coach Trisha gives me accountability and perspective and I’ve lost 33 lbs!”
